Sheep know the voice of their shepherd. When sheep in the field hear their shepherd, they come at his call. As the people of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, we hear His voice and come at His call. His voice comes to us through His Word and Sacraments. “God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son”. Thanks be to God!
